Description
This Live At The Hilcrest Club 1958 LP featuring Paul Bley, Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry, Charlie Haden & Billy Higgins is from the closing of a local estate with a collection of over 3000 (mostly jazz) LPs. The jacket shows age related shelf wear mostly along the bottom seam, but the record itself is in very good+ condition. The inner sleeve shows age-related discoloration with a slit in one of the side seams. Originally recorded at the Hillcrest Club, Los Angeles in October 1958. On the jacket & record label, it's spelled Hilcrest.
The gentleman had his own filing system of his collection & every sleeve and/or box is labeled. You can see that label in the photos that I've uploaded.
I am NOT any kind of an expert in grading vinyl LPs but try to visually judge the condition according to the standards that I see other sellers using. I am not a collector or aficionado, I'm merely closing out an estate, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email...
