Description

An original 1st pressing of the DEBUT on UK Elektra in the STEREO format. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo cover fully laminated. An original plain inner too. 
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of on side 1. Better on side 2 ...NEAREXCELLENT level of playback...with deviation in a couple of spots on side 1. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Some clean bold audio on offer here - more so on side 2 which plays a bit cleaner than side 1. All I can detect is some low level static occasionally in a couple of tracks on side 1. E.g. 'Blues With Feeling'. Mostly minor and not upfront. A bit more noticeable in 'Poobah' - but nothing unpalatable. A couple of ticks in a couple of isolated spots per side. All the original energy and vibrancy is still very much in evidence.
Cover (Ex-) Really nice clean surfaces without much sign of wear or creasing at all. Back only exhibits very slight ageing - which is nice to see. Spine fully intact with sharp openings. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine specimen.
