Description

The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - 1st Album

(Elektra EKL 294 UK LP 1965)

 

This is a UK original mono LP pressing. This is the ultra rare 1st UK pressing which has gold "guitar player" textured Elektra labels. It has a mono U.S. sleeve, as all early UK Elektra releases had. It also has a plain paper inner sleeve. The record has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers.

 

Sleeve: Mild to moderate rubbing wear & a small tear to the rear. There are no seam splits. Good+ condition.

Vinyl: Moderate sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light, and some light marks. Good+ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. This disc has been completely play tested. There is mild crackle in some quieter places but overall it plays very well.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
