Mega Rare LP of Paul Chambers Quintet (Blue Note 1564 - mono) Original blue and white labels with 63rd St. address and RVG on both sides. No trademark "R" on either side (also no deep groove on this one). One of Chambers' best Blue Notes also features Donald Byrd, Clifford Jordan, Tommy Flanagan and Elvin Jones in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make some noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - actually pretty good for a fifty-plus year old LP. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a bit of writing on the back, but NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but how many originals on these do you see anymore?
