Description

Paul Chambers

"Quintet"

Product

Record Grade: VG-

There are two audible scratches. Side A: track two has a scratch that causes a cyclical tick that is roughly a minute long. Side B: Track 1 has a scratch that does have a cyclical tick that extends for roughly two minutes of the track. If it was not for these two marks, this record would be an easy VG+. The rest of the record sounds great and is a very enjoyable listen.

Cover Grade: VG+

Beautiful Jacket. Light wear overall. Bottom right of the jacket does show signs of wear with some splitting. Otherwise an incredible cover. See pictures.

Grading Scale

All records are visually graded under a very bright light. Will play grade on request. Please reach out if you have any specific questions regarding an auction item

NM
Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This grade is very rarely used.

VG++
May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.

VG+
A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG
Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG-
A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G
Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range
