Paul McCartney 12" vinyl lp record Flaming Pie

Auction is for an original 1997 vinyl LP record album Flaming Pie by former Beatles musician Paul McCartney. The record is a double-gatefold, i.e. it opens-up to show large format inside covers (see last scan below). This record album was opened, probably to be played once or twice or maybe just to verify it's contents. There is a small check mark next to one of the track listings onthe back cover (The World Tonight). Otherwise, the record album and vinyl are in very good condition.  The white glare that appears on parts of the the scans below is just a flash caused by our digital camera and does not appear on the actual covers or vinyl records.  Our watermark "For Sale by Edge-Online" does not appear on the actual item. SCARCE -- this full-length 12" vinyl record is rarely available online.

Additional information about condition: The previous owner was an avid collector of vinyl records. In many cases, he acquired the records because he liked the artwork and liner notes – he rarely played the records and many from this collection are still wrapped in their factory plastic. He changed record needles at least once a year, so whatever wear would be caused by occasional record-play is likely minimal. the previous owner even stored his records in a climate-controlled part of his home office! They were not exposed to sunlight or warmth, which are the usual ways that vinyl records can be damaged.

This vinyl record is just part of a larger, massive collection that we acquired from the estate of a film critic. The overall collection contains a huge archive of vintage cinema, great music and comic books memorabilia. We will be listing remnants of this great collection now through the Spring.
