BRAND NEW AND UNPLAYED UNCUT SHAPED PICTURE DISC.
THIS IS A COPY OF 'DANCE TONIGHT' 'SHAPED' PICTURE DISC EXCEPT IT IS A TEST PRESSING THAT HAS NOT BEEN CUT TO SHAPE.
There is another version that has tracks on BOTH SIDES.
This copy, however, has audio only on SIDE B.
This is not a common item at all.

B: Dance Tonight 2:54*UNCUT* picture disc for the 2007 UK limited edition shaped vinyl single. This has not been cut to the finished shape and retains a clear vinyl surround around the actual image, measuring 12" in diameter. Uncut picture discs are essentially test pressings, used to check the pressing quality and image alignment in advance of the final run.

A Little More Information:
1. Matrix#: 7230384 A-1 etched on Side 1 runout (Picture side)
2. This has been stored carefully in a double sleeve - It is as it was when it left the pressing plant; I have tried to capture any visual defects it might have in the photos. No warping or dishing; it is nice and flat.
3. I used to live near the pressing plant in East London. After pressing and releasing the shaped picture disc (https://www.discogs.com/release/1031039-Paul-McCartney-Dance-Tonight) , I came across several copies that had not been cut to shape as they might have had one or two minor visual defects. This could be a light scuff from the press or as you can see in the photo of this record, the picture (NOT THE VINYL) split at the top.
I had copies that had tracks pressed on both sides but some only had Side 1 pressed (like this one). This is most likely because the picture split after pressing Side 1, so they decided not to press the second side.
They sold on eil.com. and 911.com for £199 between 2007 and 2011

Once they ran out of stock about 10 years ago, I have been the only person as far as I can tell to sell these online via Discogs and eBay. They are very rare; I had just 6 copies of this single sided copy and 7 copies of the 2-sided pressing.
I have sold these to various collectors across the world over 6 years ago and after moving, realised I still had a few left. I am keeping two for myself and have listed the other one here.
