Description
Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie, 3-Disc deluxe box set release of his 1997 album, with an extra disc of Home Recordings.
Very attractive package. Comes housed in a large slipcover, with a loose obi-style strip on the side. The Flaming Pie album is half-speed mastered and packaged in a good quality gatefold jacket, with heavy black paper inner sleeves. The Home Recordings LP comes in its own jacket, with an orange paper inner sleeve and lyric sheet. This copy did not come with a lyrics booklet or the half-speed mastering certificate that it apparently should have, not sure if that was an error if that is standard with post-2020 issues (I purchased this in 2023).
I played the records one time, and they sounded great. A little dusty, however, and I did notice a small mark on disc 1, but I would assume it does affect playback.
The jackets, sleeves, and box slipcase are all in great shape. The obi looks good, but subject to slight bending.
Will ship in an oversized outer sleeve for protection.
