Description
This is an original 1967 London Records (USA) pressing, in stereo, of the soundtrack to the 1966 Haley Mills movie, THE FAMILY WAY.
This is a promo copy, auditioned once, then filed away for decades. The disc is therefore in NEAR MINT condition. Other than small splits in the upper and lower spine, the cover is in generally GOOD condition. Other than the promo sticker on the cover, there are no other markings on the front or back covers.
From Wikipedia: "This January 1967 recording is sometimes considered to be the first Beatles solo album, but most critics consider George Harrison's Wonderwall Music,also a soundtrack album, from November 1968, to be the first, because it was released under George Harrison's name while The Family Way was credited to George Martin."
This is a lucky find for completist Beatles/McCartney fans or any collector of rare original first pressing LPs by Sixties artists/studios.
