I’ll be listing the second group of another twenty plus Paul McCartney (along with some Wings) 45s concurrently on eBay. Worldwide pressings, tough to find USA pressings and some of those post Apple releases that were supposed to be on Capitol Labels but remained Apple Labels. Also some Apple Labels that didn’t use the custom design found on most issues. A few promotional Apple releases also. Please check them out if you want to see some unusual Paul pressings.

Venus And Mars Rock Show

Of all the 50 odd Paul McCartney and Paul McCartney & Wings 45s I’ve listed over the last week, this was by far the hardest one to track down. First off the Venus & Mars Rock Show single is known worldwide as a Capitol pressing not on Apple (as is this pressing) and secondly the single didn’t really sell or chart much anywhere around the world due to it being released well after the “Venus & Mars Are Alright Tonight” album had peaked at #1 and started it’s long descent back down the Hot 100. Millions already owned the album and the single slid into obscurity rather quickly.
For the Apple Label collector this is a gem not only for it’s low sales numbers but additionally for it just being on an Apple Label instead of that custom V&M “balls” Capitol Label. I hope someone out there can finally fill that hole with this pressing. Condition of the vinyl is shiny and smooth with the Picture Sleeve showing very slight wear (please observe the provided photos for your condition concerns).
