Description

This is a very scarce and previously undocumented UK pressing of a 7" single by Paul McCartney & Wings titled Mull of Kintyre / Girls' School released on Capitol Records in 1977. What makes this copy so unusual is Mull... is the shorter 3.30 edit (stock copy version is 4.42) and has the DJ 1 matrix numbers, however Girls' School on the flip is the standard 4.34 version and has standard matrix numbers. There are of course many copies of
this record as it one one of the most sucessful ever made but nowhere could I find any copies of this pressing ever recorded!  The usual UK promos (which are scarce anyway) have DJ1 edits on both sides along with demo labels but this has one black handwritten titled label  and a standard label on the other side, all very strange. It has a few marks from play wear and some light marks but looks and plays in nice VG to VG+ condition with one side is in better shape than the other, but this is a chance to bid on a Paul McCartney record that has previously been unknown.  Disc comes in the plain black sleeve I discovered it in and remember I always do combined good P&P Capitol Records : R 6018
