Paul McCartney/Wings - Wings Over Wembley
2 LP set recorded live on Friday December 7th 1979 at Wembley Arena
The cover has been hand signed on the front in black biro by Denny Laine – my friend was in a semi pro band that supported Denny at the Crewe Railway Club in 1998 and he got some items signed for me including this cover. With the nature of the record apparently he laughed when he signed it. It is 100% genuine.
Matrix numbers are MM-13 A, MM-13 B, MM-13 C and MM-13 D
To the naked eye the vinyl appears to be in mainly excellent condition with just the lightest of marks to be seen. The exception to this is the first track on side 3 (Spin It On) which does have a more noticeable mark. I've played both sides of the first disc before listing and it plays with no problems whatsoever, just the odd spot of ultra light crackle and the odd very feint tick. I've also played Spin It On and it plays through with a noticeable tick then, on my system, sticks right at the end. The next track then goes on to play great. Please remember that due to the nature of the recording the sound reproduction is not the same as that of an official live album - though it is very enjoyable.
The thick cardboard cover has a little shelfwear but no splits or writing (apart from the signature that you will see is nice and clear)
The records are housed in the original die cut inners which have a little discolouration and some creasing but no writing or splits
