PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS - 'RED ROSE SPEEDWAY'
This MINT/UNPLAYED UK pressing dates from the mid-1970's and is on a custom EMI/Parlophone label: PCTC 251 without the 'Wings' logo.
A genuine red & white EMI 'FACTORY SAMPLE -NOT FOR SALE' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 903-4 & YEX 904-3
Stamper codes: 1/MG & 4/RML
Vinyl weight: 113g
Housed within an extremely rare outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover with 12-page colour booklet stapled inside the gatefold.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No.' inner-sleeve.

Both are 'as new' with no spindle marks or wear around either centre hole.

'Factory-fresh', deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a few harmless inner-sleeve removal marks are 'as new'.

Cover: EXCELLENT +
A superb clean, strong and glossy example of this rare cover which bears just a trace of storagewear but no significant or major faults. The front panel is clean, glossy and unworn with no disc impression or 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All corners are in superb shape and apart from a single small 'push' to the front opening edge, there is little to fault anywhere. Inside the booklet is still firmly attached and in perfect condition. There is no braille message on the rear panel but all seams and the spine are smooth unstressed & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean, flat & white with no writing, tears or seam splits.
