Description

This week I will be listing some primo NW garage LPs from the 60s. This one has a fair reserve due to it's rarity. All others will be NR. They are originals from the Northwest, my homeland. They are all 'one owner' and have NOT been shuffled around the world via net trading.

Here is a sweet 'Like Longhair' in splendid condition for a 44 year old record. To my knowledge, it is the Raiders 1st, released 4 years before the world knew who they were (outside the NW USA. It is mostly instrumental, GREAT R&R full of NW loose crunch. Mark Lindsey plays mostly sax and screems now and then. Talent is superb and one can plainly see how this band eventually gained worldwide attention.

Gardena Records - LP-G1000 - Mono - 1961

Disk = a STRONG VG+ (very rare for this title and age, a few sleeve lines and minor marks that do NOT affect play) Sound is quite nice. Gardena Records made nice pressings.

Cover = VG++ (looks better than the scan shows, Minimal wear, VERY crisp seams, No ringwear, some wear where 1" pastover shows under front paste, see scans) Quite nice.
