Condition is new. I bought this brand new on release day and queued in Oxford Street to get it. I think you had to buy this version from Virgin Megastores to get tickets to see the band in-store the same night, something like that. 
I've never owned a record player so it's sad in my home ever since, untouched and unplayed.
