Description
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful LP – a “Red Stereo” issue in the heavy hard cardboard jacket – from Deutsche Grammophon (SLPM 136 695, German pressing, AH tulip label, stereo) entitled “Eine Mozart-Matinee der Salburger Festspiele” (“A Mozart Matinee from the Salzburg Festival”) features conductor Bernhard Paumgartner and the Camerata Academia der Salzburger Mozarteum, with guest soloist, the radiant soprano Rita Streich, in an enchanting all-Mozart program, warmly recorded at the Neues Festspielhaus, Salzburg, on 6 February 1961.

CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the heavy cardboard jacket is VERY GOOD. There is slight wear along the open edge of the jacket, minor edgewear and bumping at corners, and a bit of fraying to the laminate on the rear panel. However, there are no seamsplits, owners' markings, or other defects and the jacket remains solid, bright, and glossy – in all, a very good collector's copy.
The condition of the LP itself is EXCELLENT. Although the surfaces are not absolutely silent, really this is a very fine copy and the playback is superb. Those requiring CD silent surfaces are kindly advised to look elsewhere. Overall, this rates as an excellent collector's copy.
