Description
This is part of a big auction full of gospel record from Peacock, Gospel, Savoy & Nashboro. Great stuff that is often overlooked. Many of these are promos and all are in great shape.

Release: The Sensational Nighingales - I Gave My Heart / I'm Coming Up Lord
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Original release with the black labels. One of the harder Peacock records from this era to find. I Gave is a real standout even among the SN's great catalog. Very soulful acapella with a gut wrenching lead vocal. Must hear if you are a gospel fan.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape, very clean with almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with no noticeable background noise. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just a bit of light scuffing. This is a very nice copy overall.
Due to travel and the holidays, this will be my last auction of the year. Mark me as a favorite though because I have some killer rockabilly and small label blues/R&B auctions coming in January.
