Description
Thanks for looking at my auction, which is for a brand new, still sealed original pressing of Pearl Jam's 2000 release "Binaural" on vinyl. If you are looking at this auction you are probably aware of how rare the LP has become, and this copy has an advantage because it is new and unopened. The LPs inside will be perfect if you want to open it and play them.
It seems almost every copy of this LP I have seen (even my own) whether new or opened, has some sort of wear. The black cover is just a nightmare to keep free from wear, even in the record store. This copy has just 4 tiny marks along the bottom of the jacket, that aren't easy to see unless you pick the LP up and turn it at an angle where you can see the bottom spine. They most likely occured, as I said sitting in the rack at the store. Not a big deal. In fact, if you wanted, you could very gently take a black sharpie and fix the marks and it would look perfect.
The LP is still sealed, but the left side of the shrinkwrap has pulled loose. This means you have 3 sides completely sealed, and one that is open. But whereas if this LP had been opened and played, you would have had to open the right side of the LP. This shrinkwrap split is on the left. The sticker in the upper right corner is in the proper place, too, further assuring the buyer that this is indeed a new LP.
The only other thing I need to mention is that where I got this, whomever marked the price did so with a ball point pen, in three places. The ink is not on the jacket, but on the shrinkwrap, but only in one place. The light indention from his writing is on the jacket three times, though. Two of them, in the left and right corners are about 1" long, but the one in the center is probably less than 1/4", almost invisible.
I also have several other rare Pearl Jam LPs on right now, so please check my other auctions if those interest you.
Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, through E-bay or at Kindtaper@aol.com. All of my auctions start with an opening bid of .99 and have *no reserve*. Please check my other auctions for more rare vinyl and cool stuff. I am beginning to sell records out of my personal collection, most of which are in really nice shape, just things I don't listen to very often and need a new home. Please keep checking back with me for other great titles. I prefer Paypal for all of my auctions. I will make special exceptions for *postal* money orders or concealed cash (at your own risk) if you clear it with me in advance. Please do not bid unless you can pay for the item within 7 days of the auction end date. If you're not going to pay for the item, please do not bid. Also, please do not e-mail me asking me to end an auction prematurely. I will only do this if there is a problem with the item.
Shipping costs: Shipping is free anywhere in the world on any LP with a winning bid over $100. All LPs are shipped well packed in specially made boxes manufactured exclusively for shipping LPs. Records are carefully packaged between pre-cut cardboard filler pads to prevent them from getting bent or damaged during transit. All LPs, new or used, are sent in brand new polypropylene protective sleeves to protect and enhance the beauty of your investment. I ship all LPs in the above manner, no matter the final bid outcome. If the LP you win is not sealed, I will ship the record or records in their inner sleeves on the outside of and next to the jacket to avoid seam splitting. You are welcome to combine multiple LPs that you win from my auctions in the same box to save on shipping. If you win single LPs, you can usually get 3 in the same box. If you live in the USA, I can send any LP (up to three) via media mail for $5. This covers the protective mailer, shipping, and delivery confirmation. If you want Priority mail, UPS or another carrier, I can get this quote for you AFTER the auctions end. I will always only charge you what the carrier charges me, plus $2 for the mailer, filler pads and tape used to mail your LP. I do not intentionally add surcharges to shipping rates like some people do. If you live in Canada or the rest of the world, I send LPs via air mail, and a single LP is usually $7, and $10 for double LPs, but again, after the auction is over, I can pack the LP and give you an exact price. It's harder to know in advance. If you live in Europe, a single LP is $12 for air mail shipping, and $15 for double LPs. Japan is $13 for a single LP and and $16 for double LPs. Thanks again for your interest in my auctions and good luck if decide to bid. If you are unhappy with anything you buy from me, I will work with you to make you satisfied.
