Pearl Jam RIOT ACT Original 2002 OOP vinyl LP record

This auction is for a vinyl copy of the out of print Pearl Jam album Riot Act. This copy is in overall nice condition. Using the Goldmine standards, I would grade the sleeve as VG and the vinyl as excellent.

The outer sleeve has some damage to the upper right-hand corner of the front cover. The corner is a little dinged up and also creased - see the photos for better detail. There is also some light wear around the opening from removing the records, as well as a small scratch on the back cover – near the top, in the middle. Otherwise, the cover is very nice, with no ringwear.

Both LPs are shiny and free of any scratches or other damage. The labels, likewise, are free of defects (no spindle marks). There is little to no background noise between tracks. The records are a little dusty, but a quick cleaning would easily fix that. When spinning on the turntable, there is a very minor warp noticeable, though it does not affect playback at all.

The booklet is in nearly perfect condition.

The inner sleeves, however, do have some damage. It appears that the first one might have suffered some moisture damage to one corner at some point. It affects an area approximately 3 inches across the top and down the side about 6 inches. The side is also split along those 6 inches; otherwise the sleeve is free of damage.

The second sleeve has a tiny area (about 1 inch) to a top corner that appears to have also suffered moisture damage at one point. It’s only noticeable upon close inspection. There is also a split of approximately 2 inches to one side. Aside from that, there are no flaws.

Don’t miss out on this hard-to-find Pearl Jam album. It will be shipped with the records removed from their outer sleeve and placed in generic white sleeves so as to not damage the picture sleeves or outer sleeve, and everything will be double boxed so that it arrives in exactly the condition it’s in now.
