dang it, I hadn't listened to this in a while I'm going to listen to All or None whilst I write this description, forgot how cool that song was.
Ok. So. Riot Act on Double LP. If you're looking at this I'll assume you know the track list, etc. so I'll spare you. I bought this from the ten club ages ago and listened perhaps once or twice, so it is gently used. I don't have a turntable to test it but it appears to be in perfectly playable condition. Sleeve-wise everything is in great shape, there is some very normal edge-softening that I tried to note in the photos, but other than that it looks great. And I have to say...I forgot how damn well packaged this record was, they did as great a job with this one as they did on the others. Another way in which this record is most definitely underrated. Comes with a really nice magazine-size liner book on nice thick stock...something to really lose yourself in while the record spins.
Ok, anyway...looking at this LP is making me sentimental. I have to sell this (and several other PJ LPs) off because when this record came out I met my wife on a Pearl Jam forum(well, she wasn't my wife then, she was just some chick...wouldn't thata been something if I'd met her and she was already my wife? I digress) and then some stuff happened and then we moved in together and some other stuff happened, and then I knocked her up and we had a daughter and now it's six years after THAT and the kid wants a Nintendo 3Dsomethingorother for Christmas that I have no earthly way to pay for. So here we are. Pearl Jam giveth, and ebay taketh away. My loss is your gain.
BUY IT NOW and I'll throw in a Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians 45. WHY?! you ask? 'Cause it's the holiday season, schmuck, that's how I roll. Don't look a gift horse. If you don't buy it now, you get nothing but the sweet, rare double LP described above. So there.
