Description

Pearls Wizard of Love Apple Records 7” Acetate

The Pearls were a girl singing duo from the UK in the 70s who combined together the retro girl group sound with a soulful glam style featuring Lyn Cornell and Ann Simmons from The Vernon Girls with help from Phil Swern. They released a slew of 45 singles mostly soul covers though

It appears from this Acetate (a metal disc covered with a plastic lacquer) that they did some Beatles related recording

Acetate is one sided with the standard Apple Corps Ltd, 3 Saville Row, London W1 - Custom Recording label which you see on most Apple Acetates

Most of the info is as usual hand typed “Wizard of Love” - Pearls - Stereo and the world Bell has been handwritten which is of course the label the record would be issued on

Would have been a very small amount of these pressed

An affordable Apple acetate with Beatles and apple artists titles changing hands for small fortunes

Disc is in VG- with marks and scuffs and a slight chip on edge (see pic)
