Description
Pebbles & Bamm Bamm of The Flintstones
Open Up Your Heart … and let the sun shine in
The Lord Is Counting on You
1965
7” 45rpm w/ picture sleeve
Hanna Barbera
HBR 449
Everybody of a certain age remembers this song. Because in the 1960’s every kid watched the same TV shows. After all, there were only three TV channels and all kids would chose The Flintstones over some boring talk show or game show. In this episode Fred falls asleep and dreams that Pebbles and Bamm Bamm can sing and become huge pop stars with the song Open Up Your Heart And Let The Sun Shine In.This is the only picture sleeve of this title that I’ve ever seen. It’s super rare. There is not another sleeve OR disc of the original US pressing on ebay right now. Unfortunately this one has issues. Two and a half of the three sides are split and there are tears. See photos. There is a very small sticker pull on the bottom left of the front and a small piece of tape where someone tried to fix the side split. Someone has very cleverly written 45rpm at the top of the back side (I mean, everyone knows that all 7” records are 45rpm, WHO needed this note?). Everything is visible in the photos. Still a very presentable and super cool sleeve.
The disc is fairly presentable as well, considering the sleeve wasn’t protecting it much. Lots of superficial marks but nothing that I can feel with my fingernail. Over all, I’d give the pair either a VG- or a G++.
Smoke free, pet free home. Everything will be mailed using re-used boxes.
No handling charge. Buyer pays actual shipping costs in the continental US.
I only ship once a week. Please do not expect this to arrive tomorrow.
International bidders will pay actual shipping costs which are shockingly, staggeringly, prohibitively expensive.
