Description
For Auction - Pedro Albizu Campos on Disco Libre DL 007. Titled "Habla Albizu Campos", please see pics for record label condition and other details for this 1970 12-inch, 33 1/3 RPM EP. The vinyl visually grades NM and the audio is good considering this was a 1950's Live Recording (see details below). The LP cover is VG++ (initials written on the back side of the cover - top left corner and some moisture damage to the bottom right area).
DETAILS: Original release, and ultra rare. Please understand that this was a "Live Recording" during the 1950's, and as such, audio technology was still a long way off! The complete title of this LP is: Habla Albizu Campos - "Yo Nunca He Estado Ausente De Puerto Rico." Don Pedro Albizu Campos was the Nationalist Leader of Puerto Rico for many years until his death on April 21, 1965. On September 23, 1950, during the commemoration of El Grito De Lares, he provided what would be 1 of his last speeches . The subjects of his speech on this recording are about:
