Description

Peggy Hill -- the "Was I Drunk" girl -- sings "Nobody Cares" and "Daddy Be Careful" on Victor 40134, accompanied by an unknown Bixian cornet, piano, guitar and steel guitar.  Recorded in Chicago on July 3, 1928.    These are hot sides with solos and obligatos, despite being issued in Victor's country series.  This record is in E condition generally, with some audible Victor grain.  A tiny pressing bump on "Daddy" doesn't sound.
