Description
Johannes Brahms: Violin Sonata op.78, Sonatensätze.
Performed by Edith Peinemann & Jörg Demus. German Ed1 Darnok stereo-pressing from 1974.
This is one of the earliest copies on which labels and covers don't fit the actual content. This means although labels and cover depict this as Darnok 2032 containing sonatas op.100 & op.108, the pressing is actually Darnok DF 2033 containing op.78 & the Sonata-Sequences. Matrix-Numbers are: A1798 A-1, S3A & A1798 B-1 S3A.
Most of you will already know that this speaks for the fact that the copy was among the first ones to be issued (as the mistake was corrected later on), but it also means that cover and record do unfortunately not match.

All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
