Description
Pennywise - Self Titled LP - OG 1991 First US Vinyl Pressing
I did a full album complete PLAY TEST on a high end Technics SL-1200MK7 turntable. All turntables/needles (stylus) may sound/play differently but this should give you the most accurate idea of the audio quality.
Side 1 The audio quality is great on every track. There is some very light "crackling" (static/surface noise) between track 2 & 3 and between track 3 & 4 but once the track begins the audio quality is great.
Side 2 - The audio quality is great throughout all tracks. There is a bit of "crackling" before track 1 starts but it goes away once the music kicks in.
FIRST PRESSING IDENTIFIERS
- Matrix / Runout (A runout etched): L-37929 E-86412-1-A C
- Matrix / Runout (B runout etched): E-86412-1-B C L-37929X
The vinyl has some light surface marks and some hairlines. There are no deep scratches and nothing that appears to affect playback. The labels are clean and in excellent condition.
The original insert is included. There is some stains on it but it is still in decent condition. The original inner sleeve is in decent shape but it does have seam splits on each side. The vinyl will be shipped in a new white generic inner sleeve to prevent any further damage to the original.
The jacket has some wear in the corners, some creasing around the seams. Check out the photos and the video to get a good idea about the condition of the jacket. The vinyl record will be shipped outside of the jacket to prevent damage during shipping.
Check out my other items. I have many rare or original first issue 80’s, 90's and 2000's records for sale.
*Most sellers either give a very general visual grading or a vague description. I do my best to be as thorough as possible and describe things in great detail. I am extremely picky and I realize sometimes this makes things sound worse than they actually are, but I believe that a buyer should not be disappointed when they receive a used album. They should have an appropriate expectation and deserve as much detail as possible before making a decision. Please contact me with and questions that you may have prior to purchase.*
