The Penatngle
"Sweet Child"
A fabulous example of this album. Original 1968 Transatlantic double album.Matrix numbers are (Album 1) TRA178 A/1 & B2 and (Album 2) TRA 178 A/2 & B2 which would indicate a very early pressing. This album is 43years old and you would expect appreciable wear but no, this album is in excellent condition. I have graded the cover Ex+ The front has some bearly noticable creases on the laminate and the rear has one or two marks along the top and bottom edges ( see photos- with zoom to look at closely) The vinyl I grade as Ex+ also. All 4 sides are bright, shiny, jet black with no signs of wear AT ALL- no scratches or scuffs of any kind. The ONLY imperfection I notice is a barely noticable hairline scratch on side four but not enough affect playback in any way.As ever with the majority of my records the provenance is faultless- I have had this album in my collection since new and, like all my albums, it has been kept upright ( so very little ring-grin) in a clear protective cover.
Loads of memories associated with the band- Although we never promoted Pentangle as a whole we did have the privelidge of putting on Jacqui and John at our flagship club - The Blacksmiths Arms in Epping. Danny also popped up on numerous occasions accompanying whoever happened to ask him!!
If you like what I sell and want to own albums that have had one careful owner and not been "round the block a few times" then mark me as a favourite seller and watch out for further "gems" from my collection that I will be listing!
