The Pepper Adams Quintet: Critics' Choice
US Ed1 World Pacific mono pressing from the 50s with blue & silver deep groove labels.
Article-no. PJM-407.
No original innersleeve!
- Condition Cover: VG to VG+. A bit of shelf wear and rubbing. Bottom and top are taped. Light cellar smell.

Condition Vinyl: VG. Lots of superficial hairline marks. Record still plays very nicely during louder passages
with no deep scratches and no repetitive tics, but during quieter passages there's some surface noise and crackling present.
All of this week's 10 deep groove Jazz LPs on Pacific Jazz and Contemporary stem from one
collection, all are in very similar condition: played often, obvious amount of superficial
marks, but overall still displaying very pleasant audio if one can agree to some light background noise and some pop or clicks.
I added audio examples for Leroy Vinnegar, Hampton Hawes, Pepper Adams and Bill Perkins Octet.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.
- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.
My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
