Pepper Adams Donald Byrd Quintet Out of This World Warwick Records W 1041 MONO crown label original pressing and I do believe this is the first recording of Herbie Hancock (or Herb Hancock as he was known for in 1961) and this is the original mono pressing and is really nice and clean and has a VG+ cover with Laymon Jackson and Jimmy Cobb. The cover has some age spotting on the rear and the LP is nice and VG+ clean guaranteed. See all the photos above and this one sure to attract a bit of attention as the music is outstanding. Herbie Hancock was brought to NYC by Donald Byrd and was his roommate at the time in the Bronx and helped him out by getting him on this recording date which led to a lengthy Blue Note career. Grab this one right away. This is THE original mono deep groove pressing and well worth many bids.
