This offering is for the single sided promotional LP - Pepsi-Cola Presents: "The Jim Brown Sports Show". This record pitches the aforementioned radio show and includes an sample show, a march tempo version of the Pepsi Song a sweet velvety jazz version of the "Say Pepsi Please..." jingle (by an uncredited female singer, possibly Polly Bergen), along with pricing and airing recommendations for the show (pitched by Phil Heinerfeld, Advertising Director of Pepsi Cola). It's unusual to note that I could find no historical information on the airing of this radio show or if it even went into full production or not. The only information on the relationship between Jim Brown and Pepsi that I could find was from later in the 60's, so I'll have to leave it at that. This record is a nice bit of historical Americana both for Pepsi and football fans. A historically significant "lost" advertising piece.
