Description
Here for auction is an original copy of Pere Ubu’s third single released on their own Hearthan Records.
The item comes from the record collection of singer/author Julian Cope, who purchased it brand new from Probe Records in Liverpool.
The stamped white cover exhibits some ringwear from housing the disc itself, also years of handling has soiled and degraded slightly the condition of this outer bag, so that the record protrudes slightly through the bottom.
Both sides have just been played through and still sound clean and clear. On side one, ‘Streetwaves’ exhibits some minor surface noise during the quieter instrumental section. On side two, ‘My Dark Ages’ – through all the murk and synthesizer noise – appears to be clean.
