Perth County Conspiracy Does Not Exist - Self Titled - Rumour II. Record: NM / Cover: NM. Cleanest copy I've ever heard of this record. A really tough record to find in top condition like this. All the inserts are included, too. Can we talk about the inserts for a moment? They represent everything one could ever hope for lurking in the inner sleeve of a private press release: photostat copies of a manifesto about the perils of Kraftco; a small newsletter about the band's engagement in alternative lifestyles and an open invite to "exchange life experiences" with anyone who is interested; one single poem; and last but not least, a wooden toy catalog - for a homespun business from one of the band members who was less optimistic about the micro release of this private press record covering their bills. I am studying the toy catalog as I type and I have to admit I am seriously tempted to send the specified 2.50 cents to the small town Ontario address requesting a wooden alligator for Christmas delivery. At this point I wonder which would be rarer: one of those vintage wooden toys or this wonderful small town psychedelic folk record in such pristine shape? Do not miss this!
