Description
This highly sought after remix of the PSB's follow up single to 'West End Girls' may have stalled just inside the Top 20 but it has since become one of the duo's most loved singles, regularly polling in or around the top ten in fans' favourite forums.
It also remains one of Neil and Chris's favourites, despite its disappointing chart placing.
This self-proclaimed 'collectors edition' is the 10" dance mix which slightly annoyingly comes in 12" packaging consisting of a plain paper sleeve housed inside a crinkled but sturdy transparent plastic outer, with credits for the A side and its popular flip side, 'That's My Impression (Disco Mix)'. Cat. no. is 10R 6116 on Parlophone.
Most importantly, arguably, it has the original nine print square promotional poster featuring the boys individually and together in a variety of head shots and some more arty exterior shots.
As you can see there are creases and marks along some of the folds of the poster but the images are pretty much blemish free.
There is a small cut about a centimetre long to the top left of the plastic sleeve but the three other sides are all still intact.
As for the vinyl, it is remarkably unscratched but does have the inevitable surface marks and both play without any jumps and pops. To my ears 'Love Comes Quickly' plays a bit 'muddy' for the first thirty seconds but soon gets clearer and 'TMI' plays great throughout.
It's my only PSB release on vinyl and I am reluctant to part with it, but I'd be very happy for it to go to a a real enthusiast, which is why I'm making it available at a reasonable price for a pretty rare record.
