Description
The Most Incredible Thing release by The Vinyl Factory is an exclusive art edition, limited to 500 copies worldwide, each hand numbered and signed by the Pet Shop Boys. Designed by Farrow, this release features music and artwork exclusive to The Vinyl Factory edition. This one is labelled 76/500.
Comprising a silk cloth bound hard board slipcase containing a hardback book with seven record sleeves. Six of these house heavyweight 180-gram vinyl records pressed on the EMI 1400. The records feature the Pet Shop Boys’ music for the ballet, as well as exclusive original demo versions of each of the compositions, only available in this release.
These were the only tracks that were played (those unique to this release), when ripped to my own library. The rest of the records are in mint condition and unplayed. See my additional note and photos regarding the positioning of the record sleeves in relation to the outer cover.
The seventh sleeve contains an oversized foldout sheet music print, signed by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. The ballet’s synopsis is printed on the record sleeves so that each has an accompanying narrative that reads like a storybook.
Also included is the original 44 page theatre program from the ballet's first run at Sadler's Wells. There are some marks on the lower right front cover (see photos).
They will be posted in the original packaging from the Vinyl Factory, wrapped in plain paper.
