Description
This is the 1985 10 Inch version of the Pet Shop Boys' "West End Girl" single. It is housed in a round sleeve which opens up to display photos of Neil and Chris, and then the 10 inch vinyl record. In addition, they also threw in the 7" record. Probably thinking you would play that and keep the 10 inch pristine.
At some point I got Neil and Chris to autograph this on one of their many "Meet and Greets" held here in San Francisco. Neil wrote "To Chris" above his name. If you don't like the idea of personalized autographs, you could always just pretend Neil was giving this to Chris Lowe instead of Chris Jehle. That would be insane, of course, but collectors often are a bit insane, so...
The main sleeve is in Excellent Condition, particularly given that it is 38 years old. The generic black sleeve for the 7 inch shows obvious wear. The vinyl for the 10" is in at least Very Good Plus Condition. The vinyl for the 7" is in Good Condition.
I've seriously considered auctioning this several times since I started selling on eBay back in October 2022, and each time I've put it back away, not really wanting to part with it, given its rarity and autograph. But ...
