Description
Prestige Bluesville 1068, “Guitar Pete’s Blues” with Pete Franklin, guitar, vocals, and piano, from 1962. Trident-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Matte jacket has light wear – mostly color loss – on seams. There are no bends or ringwear, there is minor corner wear, and the jacket back is very clean with only a small price code written at lower right. Songs are “I Got To Find My Baby”, “Lonesome Bedroom Blues”, “Prison Bound”, “Black Gal”, “Grievin’ Me”, “Rocky Mountains”, “Six White Horded”, Sail On”, “My Old Lonesome Blues”, and “Guitar Pete’s Blues”. So far as I know, this is Pete Franklin’s only LP, recorded in 1961. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped
