NOTES: Gatefold cover original pressing of very in demand jazz funk LP. This was a radio station copy, so unfortunately there is masking tape to spine and seams. Record actually plays great, but I am giving it a strict VG visual grade (play grade is solid VG+). Yes this is a great LP. I wish I could say I bought it for 47 cents from Rhino, but that is a very old price sticker. This appears to be Monarch pressing per dead wax.

GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.

I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
