Description
This is Pete Parker on Kapp. Strong soul voice with great funky beat, James Brown style horns, and good girl group backup singing. Flipside is really good midtempo ballad, also with the girl group doing backup. This record combines the best of the early 60's transition era soul sound with the later harder funk beat. Two great songs, and the record is Near Mint (looks unplayed, although I did play it once)! Please see second picture above for flipside (there's a bit of camera flash reflection in the pictures but the labels are actually like new, with a demo sticker on one side). Grading as follows: Near Mint=Like New or Very Close. VG++=Slight Wear/Close to Near Mint. VG+=Mild Wear/Nothing Serious. VG=Noticeable Scuffs and/or Scratches but Still Enjoyable.
