Amsterdam based hiphop duo Pete Philly & Perquisite released their second album ‘Mystery Repeats’ in 2007. Added to their sound of jazz, classical, broken beat and soul, are influences from all over the globe: flamenco, samba, reggae and afro beat. ‘Mystery Repeats’ is a sonic document boosting with diversity and ambition; destined to reveal itself anywhere, anytime. They crafted the album in a North France retreat and finished it by working day and night in their Amsterdam studio. In November 2023, Pete Philly & Perquisite made a triumphant return with a reunion concert at AFAS Live, Amsterdam. A part from that, they announced their official third studio album to be released in the spring of 2024.So, with a new album on it’s way, it was about time to re-release their iconic debut album on vinyl, which had been unavailable for years. Due to the positive reactions from the fans to the re-release of the Mindstate LP, they have decided to also re-release their second album on vinyl.
