Peter Bardens - The Answer - 1970 Transatlantic TRA222 - Good + condition.
Debut album from founder member of Camel - featuring Peter Green and Andy Gee on guitars.
Despite the low grading this is actually a nice example of an extremely rare and collectable album.
Generally the record plays perfectly well BUT there is light surface on the intros and during quiet passages. This is not overwhelming by any means but it needs to be taken into account. The album may well benefit from a professional clean.
The biggest issue is what appears to be a needle 'dink' on the second track - and this results in a short series of pops.
Elsewhere there are some occasional, lighter clicks here and there.
Visually there are some surface scratches - most of which are entirely superficial.
The sleeve is in nice condition with a little edge wear - the spine lettering is clear despite some small creases - the laminate is lifting very slightly along the spine on both front and back and there is also some laminate creasing on both sides.
Labels are clean with minimal spindle wear.
Clearly not a mint copy but still more than presentable.

All records carefully cleaned with soft brushes and cloths and play tested on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 deck through a Cambridge A2 amp and Gale monitor speakers.
