Offering one 1976 two disc 33 1/3 rpm vinyl LP release by vocalist & guitarist, Peter Frampton. "Frampton Comes Alive" was quite a phenomenon in it's day. Recorded live at a number of venues, it became the biggest selling 'live' album of all time. It contained 3 huge hit singles, "Show Me The Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", and "Do You Feel Like I Do". As an album, it topped the US and Canadian album charts and went to #6 in the UK.
Prior to "Comes Alive" Frampton had quite a career. In his youth he became a guitar prodigy. By 16 he was fronting The Herd, who had several UK hits. Following that he co-founded the Blues-drenched Rock band, Humble Pie, with vocalist Steve Marriott from The Faces. As a session musician, Frampton played with the likes of Harry Nilsson, John Entwhistle, and George Harrison. It was while playing with Harrison that he was introduced to the 'talk box' guitar effect which would become a sensation on "Comes Alive".

This copy is an original 1976 A&M USA release-not a reissue-and it is factory SEALED in the original shrinkwrap. The two discs within are 100% new and unused-the best possible copies you can get. Shrinkwrap is nice & tight with sharp corners, but-as often happens with old sealed LP's-it has opened up at the bottom right edge for a span of 4 or 5 inches. Only real consequence is a little bit of wear to the bottom right corner. Very minor.
