CONDITION DETAILS Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. Shrink is partially torn center-right and there is some slight scuffing at top-center under the shrink (front/back). Not a recent re-issue, no club markings. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Many of the songs on So reflect a more conventional pop-writing style and became radio hits. Peaking within the in the Billboard Hot 100 were: Sledgehammer (#1), Big Time (#8), and In Your Eyes (#26). Other songs still retain Peter Gabriel's dark, brooding sense of experimentalism. As Gabriel explained in 2011: "I'd had my fill of instrumental experimenting for a while, and I wanted to write proper pop songs, albeit on my own terms." Many of the tracks also continued to showcase Gabriel's interest in world music. So is the best-selling album of Gabriel's career and charted at number 1 in the UK Album Chart, and #2 on the Billboard 200 in the US. It is certified 3x platinum in the UK, and 5x platinum in the US.
