Description
Original 1992 UK 2LP pressing on Virgin/RealWorld Records. Long out of print and hard to find these days. Bought second-hand and stored upright in a 5 mil heavyweight polypro sleeve in a smoke-free environment. Reissued on Classic Records in 2002, which is also long out of print. Deadwax "Townhouse" etched (Townhouse Studios) with matrix #s A-01, B-01, C-01, D-01.
- EX cover is clean with no markings and no seam splits. Spine and edges are strong, with minor wear along the top edge. Upper right corner ding (photo) and minor wear at the top right and lower right corners. So hard to keep these lightweight import covers NM. Still a nice cover.
- NM inner sleeve 1 is clean and strong with no markings, tears, creases or seam splits. Corners are sharp and strong with no wear. Very nice.
- EX inner sleeve 2 is clean and strong with no markings, tears or creases. There is a 4" seam split on one side. Corners are sharp and strong with no wear.
- NM side 1 is clean and glossy with two faint hairline sleeve scuffs. These are very light and will not effect sound quality.
- EX side 2 has 5-6 long hairline sleeve scuffs. I have play-tested with headphones and have heard no audible effects of these hairlines. No pops or skips. I heard one 'tick' during track one, but nothing above and beyond the normal light surface noise. (Ortofon Black 2M cartridge)
- EX side 3 has sleeve scuff on track 3 (Fourteen Black Paintings). I have play-tested with headphones and there are surface noises/tics during the quieter passages, but no pops or skips. (Ortofon Black 2M cartridge)
- NM side 4 has no marks or scuffs of any kind.
