Peter King- Man of distinction GRANDSTAR 1013 (NIGERIA)
visual grade: Vg+ play grade: Vg/Vg+ plays great (check the long clips) ! labels: writings (the usual name) cover: G+ ring wear, stain, small writings front & back, NO tape and intact (not bad at all)
conservative grading
comments: laidback kool innovative original ultra hip stripped down 5et (tp, gt, drums & perc) with Mr. King playing lots of instruments plus he wrote and arranged all tracks = a super cool fusion of afro jazz funk soul ! one of my all time fav album from Nigeria/Africa, still very very underrated, you'll never get tired of playing this elpee, it's a repeated listening/winner, music which goes beyond space/time = timeless. very rare too, seldom offered only twice on popsike in around 15 years, great copy; check man of distinction, catch me, do it (amazing), PK (Peter King ? yeah :-) ! mirenike (great sax), VOA (final incantation)
