Mozart - Clarinet & Horn Concertos 

(Decca SXL 2238 UK LP 1960)



This is a UK original ED1 Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. This has an extremely thin spine. The "spine" text is on the rear sleeve next to the spine. It comes with its original company "FFSS" polythene-lined inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has ED1 Decca labels. These have the "Original Recordings By" text on them. The labels are grooved also. The record has 1st press ZAL-4711-2E and ZAL-4712-1E matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st pressing. 



Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light to mild ringwear too. There is a small stain that has affected both sides of the sleeve. There is some light fading to the rear sleeve. VG+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of very light hairline marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits but there is one small tear.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There is some more moderate crackle midway through Side 2. It doesn't last too long.
