Original OZ LP released in 1977 on CBS Records. Cat: SBP237008..
Equal Rights was to be the album that propelled Peter Tosh to the top of the reggae world the rival to onetime fellow Wailer Bob Marley. Time has shown that this lofty aspiration was not borne out, but Equal Rights remains among the handful of best, and most influential, reggae albums ever recorded.
Tracks : Get up, stand up/ Downpressor man/ I am that I am/ Stepping razor/ Equal rights/ African/ Jah guide/ Apartheid. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear and a surface tear on bottom centre edge and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
