Description

HMV original white & gold ASD 299 stereo recording of "Peter and the Wolf" and "The Carnival of the Animals" played by the Philharmonia Orchestra with Michael Flanders, Abbey Simon and Hephzibah Menuhin.   Conducted by Efrem Kurtz.

Recording first published 1959

This record is part of my personal collection.   The cover is in good condition having only a minor amount of shelf wear and rear fading.   There is a small number stamped on the back of the cover.   The red and gold STEREOPHONIC sticker is present.   The condition of the record itself is almost perfect with no visible surface marks even under strong light.   I would expect the surface noise of this record to be close to normal.   Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record.   The original inner sleeve is included.

I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs.   There are some really rare items coming up over the next few months.   I am not a record dealer.
