Peter Wolf (J Geils Band) Off the Record 2LP Westwood One Radio Program 10-29-84
“Off the Record Special with Mary Turner – “Peter Wolf” (Westwood One – OTR 84-45). Off the Record was a long-running radio show by Westwood One featuring music and interviews with popular artists and hosted by Mary Turner. Frequently coinciding with the release of a new album by the featured artist the program includes an interview with the artist as well as cuts by the artist (often from the new LP). This program featured Peter Wolf and was for the week of October 29, 1984. It lasts for 56:16 minutes (not including ads.) and was to promote “Lights Out”, his first solo LP after leaving J Geils Band. It includes the songs, “Poor Girl’s Heart”; “Crazy”; “Billy Bigtime”; “Here Comes That Hurt”; “I Need You Tonite”; “Baby Please”; “Wait”; “Gloomy Sunday”; “Pretty Lady”; “Musta Got Lost”; “Walls Come Tumblin Down”; and “Lights Out.” Includes Cue Sheet and performance affidavit card. Records are in strong VG+ to M- condition (Record 2 looks unplayed.) Cover is in VG condition (crease at lower right corner.)
