   For sale is Petula Clark's These Are My Songs, originally released in 1967 by Warner Brothers Records. This release has the original Gold Labels with the "WB" shield logo at the top. These labels were used on monophonic releases between 1967 and 1968. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-A/1-A, followed by an etched "T", indicating that the first stamper was used to press this first edition at Columbia Record's pressing plant at Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used and immediately put this album, like all my records, into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. The inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of oxidation, two bent corners and some wrinkles. The cover is graded as Excellent because of some faint ring wear, a corner blunt and a crease on the bottom left hand corner. There is also a metal-bound ring embedded in the upper left hand corner. I've seen this on other Warner brother promotional albums in the past, but there are no markings indicating that this is a promotional release. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as NM- because of two pops (one in the dead wax at the end of Side One) and some occasional low level surface noise, most noticeable between tracks. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This is the best copy of this record that I have ever seen or heard, and you would be hard pressed to find an original first pressing in this condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more British Invasion albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
