Comments: A long mysterious LP from 1974. Many said that it is was Jim Morrison on lead vocals and that his death was a hoax. Others thought that it was Iggy Pop, pretending to be Morrison and hence pushing the myth that Morrison was indeed not dead. In the end, none of this was true. Phantom was a moniker used by a local Michigan musician by the name, Tom Carson. The music that lies within this lp sounded so much like the Doors that Capital signed them on that fact alone. There is so much history/rumours about this lp, I could spend all day telling it. Simply type the title into Google and you will see.
Anyway, the vinyl plays excellent. Very clean and shiny. Some very light paper scuffs here and there, but nothing that seriously affects playback. Labels have mild spindle wear, but look great. The cover has mild rub wear to both front and back. There is a small green circle sticker on the front for some reason, but looks like it could be removed with some care. The back has a small emblem/symbol drawn at lower right corner. This lp came from an old hippies collection. I have seen this emblem drawn on quite a few of his lp's. It is small and actually quite cool!  All seams are intact and all writing clearly visible. Any questions feel free to ask.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. Some records and/or covers may fall into two categories, if I feel it is necessary. If you would like more detail about the condition of a specific title, please feel free to ask. I will respond promptly.

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) -  Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.

G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.

P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
